Jake Isaac Bio
Born and raised in South London, UK, Jake Isaac began his musical journey at the tender age of 3, playing drums. During his school years, he taught himself to play piano and bass guitar. By the age of 16, he had completed his Grade 8 in drums and had begun teaching the instrument. By 19, Jake was making a living as a part-time session musician, playing drums and bass on various jazz and rock records for international artists, including Grammy-award winner Duffy.
As a marketing manager by day and a songwriter and session musician by night, Jake worked with artists such as Cynthia Erivo, Gabrielle, and the boy band Blue. His passion for songwriting led him to open ‘The Other Stage’ at the world-renowned Glastonbury Music Festival. Signing with Sir Elton John’s Rocket Music, Jake has since worked with and supported Sting, India Arie, Ella Eyre, Paloma Faith, Lake Street Dive, Joan As Police Woman, Angus and Julia Stone, Tori Kelly, and Elton John himself.
Jake’s distinctive style of singer-songwriter and soul has earned him widespread acclaim as a multi-instrumentalist, selling out headline shows in the UK, Germany, USA, Netherlands, and across Europe. His talent was recognized with a win at the highly acclaimed International Songwriters Competition in 2020.
